Todays post will be short but also funny and informative.

If you’ve had someone in the world of cancer treatment, you may or may not know about magic mouthwash. Its a prescription mouth rinse that helps take the edge off of the wild mouth pain that is experienced by many cancer patients. Brady’s tumours are higher up on his spine, therefore the targeted cells are near/around his neck, affecting his mouth. So Brady has been in a bummer boat for the last few months, where food has no taste, or it tastes very wrong, or his entire mouth and throat just burn all the dang time.
FOOD
IS
HARD.
There is a lot more to talk about on the subject, but that’s a post for another day. What I can tell you is that we requested magic mouthwash a long time ago, and it took the edge off a bit, for sure. A month ago, he requested a refill through a different oncologist.
Our pharmacist texted me later just to laugh at it, though, because it is apparently known as both “the pink lady” aaaaaaand…
PRINCESS MARGARET!!!

Princess Margaret is a very important member of our family. She keeps Brady fed when he may not otherwise have the gumption to eat. But even more than that, she is someone to laugh at. To bring along to camp and bring home at the end of the weekend. She is the weird orange lady we keep in the fridge. I don’t know. Somehow, knowing her name makes her that much more likeable. She’s aggressive but she works hard. Like Jo from Supernanny. Remember her? Ya. Princess Margaret.
Thanks for your hard work, Mags. Much appreciated.
Ok Joe fro. Super Nanny saved my life with my little Sammy! And Princess Margaret sounds like a super hero for your family ♡♡♡♡ whatever works!
