I think these weeks are going to be challenging. With radiation every day, plus home care every day, we are quite kept in a way. Though the schedule is not our own, so we live in limbo to a degree. Its not an easy time.
Yet, as I am going over the details of these gigantic days, I am filled with overwhelming gratefulness. What a great theme in our life right now.
The morning was chaotic, but the transport driver drove so gently today and Brady didn’t feel car sick.
I had a soak over nap time.
A dear friend of ours brought a big haul of perogies to our house.
The kids and I got to a friends for a wiener roast this evening and get some much needed foster sibling time in. That visit felt heavy in my heart but also so terribly precious. Also really strange and sad that Brady couldn’t come. We have got to find a way to get him in the van with us while we wait for that lift.
We are home. The house is just lit with Christmas lights. I’m ready to finish up the last of my jobs for the day and pack it in.
I look forward in my calendar, and I don’t see camp weekends. But I do see fun little opportunities popping up for the kids here and there. Them seeing their friends. Helping out some families with jobs, cleans, babysitting, etc. Seeing Dekker on the weekends again. Lots of beautiful things still to come.
Lord protect these dear children of ours. Every one of them, whether they came from my body or not, I ache for their hearts.
Praise God, for He has done GREAT things.
