I’ve said so many times in the past that Dekker is a pro-teether. He really is! In between bouts of teething though, we always saw a change in attitude. He got more cuddly and friendly and playful. So while he’s a total trooper while pushing teeth, it must bug him more than he lets on.

That being said, I’m pretty sure he’s teething again. He has sixteen teeth right now, just missing the back eight molars. I think those are the two year molars, right? He’s had a break from teething since about 13 months, so he is not used to the discomfort anymore. The last few days we’ve noticed a lot of finger sucking which is kind of out of character for him. But now, today especially, he cried on and off ALL DAY. He was fed, rested, clean, fine! But he must be sore 🙁 Poor dude. While I revel in the times when he’s not teething, it would be great to have it over and done with sooner than later! I can hope right?

So today was kind of a grouchy day for the family. Tomorrow, we’re going to head to the city for some non-pressing errands, just to get out of the house for a bit. And I’m sooo hungry for noodle bowls from Saigon Rose! Looking forward to today being over.
