A Little Too Pumped Perhaps

So I really enjoyed yesterdays post. Maybe it’s strange to like my own post that basically brags up my “skills” but it’s fun to look back on things you’ve done that worked out, right?

Typing up my post yesterday put me in serious crochet mode. So I crocheted. All afternoon. And came up with…

Matching  toques for Daddy and Dekker! I’m not necessarily pro-matching all too often. How it really came to be was that Brady needed a new work toque. His current one is old and stretched and plain and doesn’t stay on very nice. So I thought I’d make him a relatively cool one that he could enjoy wearing a bit more. So I made him this one in pretty plain colors, but it turned out that I loved how it looked! The pattern I was using had an adult size and a kids size. Not knowing how the sizes would play out, I figured I’d try a kids one just for kicks. And I had those colors nearby. It was quick and easy and fit Dekker perfectly. So I think it is safe to say this will not be a work toque for Brady. So I made him a plain black one as well. It is boring, I know, but it is done better than his previous work toque and shouldn’t stretch out too fast.

So in an afternoon, I made three toques. As the title says, maybe I’m a little too pumped about crocheting right now.
